we’re breaking ground…
Construction of the Holland Creek Residential Development Project is now underway within the Town of Ladysmith. Phase 1 has received approval under a Preliminary Layout Acceptance (PLA) and will consist of 26 single family lots and 2 multi-family sites.
The full Holland Creek Development will be undertaken in many phases and will provide families with an exceptional residential ownership experience surrounded by nature at its finest. Progressive phases will include many lots with ocean views.
The project is under the management of the Holland Creek Partnership between EDJ Projects and the Stz’uminus First Nation. The Partnership is managed by EDJ Projects, an experienced land development company with 20 years of residential development. The designated green spaces and focus on riparian areas are a testament to both EDJ Projects’ commitment to preserving the area in its natural state and the Stz’uminus First Nation’s deep-rooted connection to the natural world.

the Ladysmith community
Ladysmith maintains a strong sense of community pride for its past and present, whether that is for the original inhabitants of the area, the people of the Stz’uminus First Nation or the excitement of its logging and mining history. Whereas coal mining was once the most important industry in Ladysmith, logging remains an important driver of its economy today. Community pride is evident in its well-maintained architecture and streetscapes as residents place a very high value on preserving this heritage. Today, the Stz’uminus First Nation are a progressive people who are moving towards building an independent nation via economic development, education and partnerships such as the Holland Creek Development Project.
